Page-turner Loan Program

TADSA has operated a very successful pageturner loan program for over 30 years.  These pageturners were donated to TADSA by various organisations and have helped provide some pleasure to many people with severe disability or who may have been terminally ill.  Our pageturners also helped many carers, whilst enabling the person with the disability to read independently, the carer then had some free time.

Our pageturners however are now old and many need repair, so we are in the process of replacing them with eReaders.  We can presently offer our clients the loan of an eReader set up with many books to choose from.  We have the facility for one of our eReaders to be used with special switching which would be suitable for a person with quadriplegia.  We aim to eventually modify all our eReaders to suit the most severe disabilities.

TADSA Rugged Terrain Electric Wheelchairs

TADSA has 2 chairs available for loan to people with severe disabilities or who may be terminally ill and living in rugged terrain.  Each chair can be modified to suit the individual user.   Most suitable for country users.
