Bike Modifications for Child     - (Project No. 210-236)

This little girl has a form of muscular dystrophy and cannot rotate her legs to ride a bike.  Freedom Wheels (Amway One By One Foundation working with all state TADs) provided a bike for her with prescribed attachments for stability and posture, but extra work was needed to enable her to use both legs working together in a downward  motion to move the bike along. 

Technical member Des modified the bike as shown in the photo – all she has to do is push downwards with both legs, she is now able to ride her bike along with other children.
