Disability affects most people in our community. It can be caused at birth, illness, accident or eventually, old age.

TADSA offers a unique service, providing one-off solutions to help people with disabilities. Our dedicated band of technical volunteers design, make or modify equipment not readily available, to suit individual needs.

LIVING INDEPENDENTLY

Wheelchair Ladder

Joe Tiest and Wheelchair Ladder

"Jim" is a young lad with cerebral palsy and needed help getting in and out of his chair.  Using drawings provided by TADNSW and modifications to suit Jim's chair, this device was made by TADSA.  Removable wheels were also fitted to make it easier to move around.
