The main body of TADSA consists of volunteers. Technical volunteers donate their expertise and time to tailor make or modfy existing equipment for people with disabilities.

Technical Member Michael joined TADSA in 1995. He is a mechanical engineer and has worked in a variety of places over the last 20 years.

“Knowing that I can improve someone’s quality of life and having the means to do so is an opportunity I appreciate having.” says Michael.

Michael
Joe Technical Member Joe joined TADSA in 1991. Before retiring, he worked in the building trade and the transport industry. Joe says: “If you like making things and meeting people, TADSA is a great place to be – age is no barrier.”
Bill

Technical Member Bill joined TADSA in 2003. He was originally a sea going marine engineer, then worked on farms, in factories and in his own business in the building industry.

“You’ve got to help people in this world when you can. I’ve got some skills that I can put to good use, helping people with disabilities to have an easier life under adverse circumstances,” Says Bill.
