Abby’s parents were delighted when TADSA Techie John did this simple modification to her special ‘transfer table’ with durable timber, tubes and special casters. Abby has a lot of physical limitations. This table can be used as a special needs changing table or as a shower stretcher due to its stain resistant cover. Not only did John fix the job of holding Abby ‘steady and ready’ on this table as she grows up, he also did his modification in making it stronger while not getting in the way of its existing foldable legs. Abby’s parents say they now feel safer to keep her weight on it as it holds Abby safe and strong.
