Our client Cheralyn wanted her two old-style outdoor keypads replaced. Bruce was our tech ‘key’ who took up this job and made her a trouble-free and sustainable solution. The first old keypad was completely replaced with a durable PVC backing plate that is weatherproof and comes with easy-control keys. Keypad number two was 3D printed with a new standoff mounting block and with a brand-new chrome plated waterproof metal trim. These keypads are adaptable, can be used both indoors or outdoors and can be made versatile in design, shape and colour thanks to TADSA volunteers like Bruce and their expertise in 3D printing and design.
