Billy wanted his trike modified in numerous ways. His main requirement was the stability of his seat, preventing him from creeping down when he sits on it or when riding on rough terrain. He then wanted a dual brake system for added safety. Billy also wanted modified foot pedals and support for his legs and feet. Self expressed as being the ‘jack of all trades’, when it comes to modifying trikes and bikes to suit any requirement TADSA tech expert Peter installed a special seat raiser for Billy with dual hydraulic lock system that not only holds the weight in place but is easy to adjust vertically. He then installed a dual brake system which retains the rear brake pedal so Billy can change between hand and foot operation of the rear brake seamlessly when he rides especially on a steep pathway. The all-in-one trike was also modified to perfection with a special wide foot pedal attached to a leg brace to support Billy’s limitations in using the pedals. Completed with a rear push and steer option, the trike positively transformed Billy’s life, increasing his ability to move, engage in recreation and enjoy life in its full force.
