Our client Mark wanted a good lift to his front-loader washing machine so that he can get the clothes in and out from his wheelchair. Alan from TADSA made this simple solution but with special vibration pads on the base. It’s a very sturdy box base made of high-quality plywood and pine on top with aluminum angles on the corners. The box is water resistant so the effects of water spills and moisture retention on the base would not damage the structure for many years to come. The vibration pads help the machine stay in place even when the washing machine reaches its full spin speed and tends to shake, while the pads also help minimize the noise of the machine shaking during the spinning or drying process. Mark is amazed by how a simple modification can make a world of difference!
