Wheelchair Swing in Her Own Backyard

TADSA is a strong advocate for inclusive play; everyone needs a good dose of fun and recreation. With the wheelchair swing, TADSA has re-invented a whole new way to ‘play for all’. We designed this no-transfer inclusive swing for a client with easy roll-on access. This mighty swing which holds a weight of up to 200kg, is connected to a slip-resistant ramp.  There is sufficient space at the back for any family member or carer to give this swing an initial push. The base is secured on the concrete foundation with masonry screws. The wheelchair is very securely held on the platform with locating frames for rear wheels & locking clamps for front wheels, plus the ramp when raised provides additional security.  These type of wheelchair -enabled swings can be integrated into any setting- home, school or even care homes and lets you get in on all the fun.
