Celebrating TADSA Volunteers at Government House – National Volunteer Week 2026

For more than four decades, TADSA volunteers have played a vital role in designing, modifying and building customised assistive technology solutions that are often unavailable through commercial or off-the-shelf products.

From bespoke mobility adaptations and customised seating systems to unique daily living solutions the work undertaken by TADSA volunteers has enabled countless individuals and families to achieve outcomes that may otherwise not have been possible.

The afternoon tea at Government House provided an important opportunity to acknowledge not only the technical expertise contributed by volunteers, but also the compassion, creativity and commitment that underpin every solution developed through TADSA.

TADSA extends its sincere appreciation to Government House for hosting the afternoon tea and recognising the invaluable role volunteers play in creating more inclusive, connected and supportive communities across South Australia.

During National Volunteer Week, TADSA proudly celebrated the extraordinary individuals who continue to dedicate their time and skills to improving lives through practical innovation and community service.
