TADSA is a strong advocate for inclusive sport; our project ‘My Active Life’ helps and inspires people challenged by various physical and other limitations to stand, walk, run, ride and even race to their heart’s content. Recently TADSA in partnership with KYD-X frame running, embarked on a weekly program to provide opportunities for young people with a disability to get out of their wheelchairs or walkers and exercise in a group environment. Over the weeks, we have seen children of many abilities engage in the sessions, their faces beaming with happiness. The sessions have helped the young ones build their strength, improve their mobility and gross motor skills all in a fun and meaningful environment.
Kyd-x has more sessions coming up during this school term, so if you have a child aged 6-17 years, register them for our weekly Frame Running sessions. Call or message us at TADSA on (08) 8261 2922 or Ben on 0418 898661.
