All Makers
Bryan Jordan
Originally a furniture maker, I worked in disability support for 18 years. Now retired, TADSA offers me opportunity to use my furniture making skills for the good of others.
I worked as a furniture maker for about twelve years until a Swedish company arrived in SA and put me and 99 percent of local cabinet makers out of business. I then moved on to be a community support worker, working with people with a disability. I loved that work and stayed for 18 years. I occasionally managed to make a piece of furniture to meet a specific need for one of my clients. Now that I’m retired, I am delighted to be part of TADSA where I can indulge myself in designing and making one off timber pieces.
