What happens when the equipment someone needs simply doesn't exist?

For almost 50 years, the volunteers at TADSA have been answering that question with creativity, engineering expertise and an unwavering commitment to helping people live more independently.

From adapting everyday devices to designing entirely bespoke equipment, TADSA creates practical, life-changing solutions that enable people living with disability to participate more fully in work, education, recreation and community life. When there is no commercially available answer, TADSA designs one.

In a recent ABC Radio National-Changing Australia interview, TADSA volunteers Ralph Drage and Michael Green share how innovative thinking, practical problem-solving and genuine compassion can transform everyday challenges into opportunities for greater independence, dignity and inclusion. Their conversation highlights the extraordinary impact that skilled volunteers can have on the lives of people whose needs are too often overlooked.

Every custom solution is made possible through the generosity of supporters who believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

As EOFY approaches, your donation can help TADSA continue designing and building bespoke equipment for people when no off-the-shelf solution exists. Every contribution, large or small, helps turn a seemingly impossible challenge into a practical solution that changes someone’s life.
