John Stevens's Projects

Customised Electric Height Adjustable Clothesline
For most of us, hanging out the washing is just another item on the to-do list. But for this client, it’s a daily challenge that demands courage, creativity, and resilience.
A Restful Walking Stick
A restful walking stick is an innovative solution for those who require mobility assistance while also needing a place to sit during their journeys. Custom modifying a walking stick that features a flip-down seat allows users to rest whenever they encounter waiting times, whether at bus stops, queues, or simply during leisurely strolls.
The Power of Customized Care
Customizing 84-year-old's Jennie's walker for her petite frame and one-handed use after a stroke brought immense joy. She had not used her walker for over 3 years. The personalized solution done by TADSA enabled comfortable, independent mobility, reminding us that small adjustments can profoundly impact lives. Jennie's smile was our heartwarming reward.
Toilet Seat Raised to Height
Kelly was overjoyed when John Stevens from TADSA made this feasible solution that allows her to easily slide off her wheelchair to the toilet seat without trying to bend or lowering herself. This apparatus with its adjusted long legs and lightweight portable design is perfect and allows her to travel more and visit her loved ones as she desires.
Drive-in Wheelchair Play Table
Daisy, relies on a wheelchair for mobility. Her father sought a versatile table that would accommodate Daisy's activities, including drawing, building, playing, and crafting while seated in her wheelchair. John from TADSA designed this clever drive-in wheelchair table. Daisy now to effortlessly drives her wheelchair beneath the tabletop for maximum access.
Customized Pool Transfer Trolley
TADSA made a nifty transportation device for a lad who can now enjoy his swimming and hydrotherapy sessions. Ben is confined to a wheelchair due to many physical limitations and is now active in the waters thanks to this transferable chair-trolley.
Bed Cradle Comfort Device
John, one of our talented experts in ‘modifications of all sorts’ made this bed cradle for a client who lives with a spinal cord injury (quadriplegia). Unable to move and with multiple pressure injuries he required a special device to hold his bedding sheets and blankets off his feet.
Bull Bar Attachment for Power Wheelchair
Our client Dan has an enduring passion in powerchair hockey which helps him engage with the whole community. He wanted TADSA to make him a bull bar that is mounted on the front of the wheelchair. John our ‘tech player’ did this sturdy enhancement that now protects Dan’s feet against collisions and impacts during those intense hockey sessions.
Rocking Chair Modified
Our client, Vincent has a therapeutic coil spring chair. Owing to his physical growth, the rocking chair needed modifications done all-round. TADSA helped realign the chair, adjusting the pivot point of the chair by lowering the top surface towards the pivot base. This made the chair much safer while enhancing the forward and rearward rocking portion.
Custom Foot-rest for lifter
Our client wanted her feet supported while she is being lifted in her transport device. John from TADSA devised a customized solution that helps our client keep her feet steady and safe while the machine lifts her up. Our client lives with spinal cord injury, kyphosis and also relies on Oxygen 24 hours a day.
Modified Wheels for Exploring the Outdoors
Young Kenny loves his outdoor walking expeditions, bird watching, bush treks and is adventurous as can be. He came to us with mum wanting special wheels on his walker which then had narrow rigid wheels that caused Kenny a lot of pain on his hands, elbows and shoulders when walking on uneven ground.
Jacy and her bright pink bin dozer
Jacy is a staunch advocate for ‘independent living’. A writer, motivational speaker and philanthropist, Jacy also runs her own chaperone-travel-buddy service. Jacy called TADSA to find a practical solution to help her independently lift and transport her wheelie bins down the street and back.
