Reposition and Reconfigure 4WW Armrest
These custom modifications may sound simple, but they highlight how thoughtful adjustments can significantly enhance user experience and functionality. It’s all about making sure that every detail aligns with what our clients truly need for their mobility solutions!
Customised Electric Height Adjustable Clothesline
For most of us, hanging out the washing is just another item on the to-do list. But for this client, it’s a daily challenge that demands courage, creativity, and resilience.
Single Handed 4WW Modification
Modifying a 4-wheel walker for single-handed use is essential for individuals who may have limited mobility or are unable to operate the walker with both hands. The goal of this modification is to ensure that the user can maneuver the walker effectively while still retaining access to its seat when needed.
Customized Communication Device
James’s mother wanted a holder for a communication book attached to an existing arm on James’s wheelchair. TADSA designed a bent-up Aluminum holder to suit the existing communications book, attached to an adaptor to fit the arm on his wheelchair. James is now able to read with and talk to his ‘comm-book’ while on the move.
Mobile Mounting Frame for Prosthetic Leg
This mobile mounting frame facilitates our client Maddy in effortlessly getting into or removing her prosthetic leg. Equipped with wheels, it allows easy transportation to and from storage too. This innovative modification enhances freedom of movement, showcasing the significant impact assistive technology solutions can have on one's life.
Reverse Brakes on Walker
Jamie had difficulty using the brakes on his walker due to brain injury. His OT suggested reverse braking action so Jamie has to apply the brakes to move forward and release when stopping. TADSA attached a lever with a pivoting brake pad to suit the flat profile of the tyres.
Packing Aid for Seeds
Dave is a seed packer and wanted to enhance his efficiency in what he does best. The new seed packing material he uses keep slipping out from the roller grips. TADSA made new rollers with knurling on the diameter complete with heavier steel rollers which rest on top of the regular aluminum rollers. The heavier rollers add weight to the grip area.
For the Perfect Strike
With a little creativity and some helpful resources, everyone can get in on the fun of gaming and recreation. Our vibrant young client, Daisy whose physical and cognitive limitations along with vision impairment did not stop her from engaging in what she loves most, bowling. Her attendant had devised a cardboard box set up as a guide for the bowling ball.
