XL Wheels for Exploring Outdoors

Young Kenny loves his outdoor walking expeditions, bird watching, bush treks and is adventurous as can be. He came to us with mum wanting special wheels on his walker which then had narrow rigid wheels that caused Kenny a lot of pain on his hands, elbows and shoulders when walking on uneven ground.

XL wheels help Kenny to continue to explore the great outdoors

TAD Technical Member, John Stevens found the perfect solution modifying the walker frame so the yoke could accommodate the new thicker ‘off road’ wheels. The larger ‘rollers’ are more comfortably pushed and roll easier on gravel, cobblestone and even mud. Kenny is more than excited with his XL wheels as he is now able to traverse obstacles, curbs and uneven ground allowing him to venture near the water’s edge to enjoy nature and all its glory.
